Can't even reimburse $4,500
The government wants to be in charge of 1/6 of the economy with their take over of the healthcare system. They claim they will be able to do it quicker, cheaper, and more efficiently.
If you look to the cash for clunkers program they are promoting where consumers get between $3,500 and $4,500 for used cars toward the purchase of a new one, then I feel even less sure Government can do anything...
As usual when a monster is attacked, it fights...

A prominent way the new progressives are able to circumvent the constraints put on them by the US Constitution is to appoint administrators. Often known as Czars, they have great (and unconstitutional) power to guide agencies and control regulations. My local paper that is, for the most part, level headed, still has bias in it’s editorial page. Mainly they carry higher quality left-wing columnists, but lesser-known conservative columnists.

President Obama in Cairo today. Gave a “historic” speech. Though he gave some good talking points about women’s rights, he capitulated too much to the Muslim extremists. His lack of support for Israel is frightening and I am disgusted he fails to mention the role of Judeo-Christian beliefs in the founding of America while making up imaginary roles for Islam in the same.
